Back in the world again. Having moved from bonny Scotland back to the shires of England (oxford to be precise), Besloop and I are preparing for Hooligan numero Three. He will be joining us in June and I can’t wait because Mrs Hooligan is eating me out of house and home. Other than that, our new house is too small and we have to move again in order to provide a room for our incoming package. But life is otherwise good. My two other little vandals love it here and are well impressed with the skate park, 2 swimming pools, bmx bumps and better playing area. Keeps them busy fo sure.
Hello to Gimpy by the way. Bad news on the accident, but continue with the strange ranting. I will also be adding some verbage as I think of it, especially with the coming sexlections where I can vote out Tony Blair and get a llama into the house of commons.

May. In Scotland it’s a time of skipping lambs, leaping calves and in the fields large amouts of the agricultural mustard gas that is Oil Seed Rape. People are staying off work in droves sneezing, coughing, watering eyes, migraine headaches and such. Im not off work because my medication is just about holding it in check. I find myself rushing to the Tay Bridge breathing in nosefuls of sea air to clear my acid-assaulted airways. Its pretty to look at but one glorious day it will be banned.

Well, Scotland won the Rugby match. Unsurprising really, but a tremendous effort from the Eagles considering the calibre of teams competing in the world cup. Teams such as the States, Georgia and Japan are displaying a desire to get up there with the big boys, and have adopted good training regimes inorder to help bridge the gap. The trouble is, like any National sport you have to breed the players as much as train them. (also…its not a girls sport…like NFL is!! oooooooo…controversial!!!)

Scotland V USA in the Rugby World Cup. Monday 23 October..

Browse the match and TV listings as per FOX sports.

England beat South Africa. Very tough match though!

On to the news:Marine Reservists Accused of Mistreatment. Ill reserve my opinions although here is a quote from the article. “The reservists “had no training at all. They were given a 30-minute training on the Geneva convention,” Rehkopf said, referring to the international accords for treatment of POWs”. If you want a quick browse on a subject not unlike this then look for “A Rumour of War” by Phillip Caputo. Near the end of the book he explains a trial in Vietnam where he was suspected of murder. His thoughts are worth considering.

and….

Adam & Eve..not Adam & Steve.

And remember: Never go to bed with anyone crazier than yourself. Have a nice day :-)

Overheard on yet another dog walk…
I was walking past the playground by the school (remember I can get in there) and there were a couple of wee Scottish mites playing on it. (I remember when my playground had concrete tubes and slabs to play with and climbing frames that went 20 feet up in places but we were well hard back then…I digress)
“Ahve pist ahn that yin” said the wee scoundrel… and it turns out that they were doing this to all the toys in the park. I saw some children playing on them today totally oblivious to what had gone on before… No more sliding for me! Its not all Brigadoon here in Scotland you know heehee!

Some people approached me and asked me if I wanted to be Bishopette of the Eastern Mists of Scotland. I said I’d love to but wouldn’t the church be upset over my rabbit-skinning problem? They said that although they thought a rabbit-skinner would be ok some sections of the church would have a real problem with it. “I wont take the job then” said I, “for the church is bigger than the aspiration of one person.”
