Today is the PA primary for the presidential election and I woke up early to cast my vote around 8am. I get there and they say that I cant vote for any candidates. What? Why? I was registered as part of the Green party, and there are no candidates for that party. I am not allowed to vote. What is this thing rigged?
Didn’t make me very happy. I already don’t feel like my vote does much of anything, but then to not even be allowed to try does not really help. I guess its my fault for not knowing this… but I didnt. Yippy for everyone else to pick who can be voted for. Such a backwards and archaic system. And they wonder why more people dont try/care to vote.
The lady looking up my information had never even heard of the Green Party. She had to make a phone call and ask what the Green Party was. How many other Americans think that there are only 2 parties to choose from?
