September 1st, 2000, version 2 came as a sudden inspiration. The design consisted of a single background image and html text over the top of it. Every page matched this layout. The main focus was the meshing of the images with the small blurbs of copy, which was mostly poetry written by associates.

I wanted to keep the design in a small format, view-able on all monitors, large or small. At that time most sites were doing full elaborate flash sites, or full screen designs that often i needed to adjust my browser window to see. The small design was my way of saying that things didn’t need to be big and complex. The navigation was simple three columns with only three letters for each section displayed. This version I liked, but it lived for about a month.
