We submitted an offer on the house. The response was supposed to be given by Saturday (2 days ago). We just heard this morning from our realtor that they did not accept our offer. Not only that, but they did not counter offer. Our realtor cant see paying the asking price due to the area and does not think an appraisal will allow anyone to get a loan for the asking price. No other homes are going for as high as they are asking.

Our realtor suggests that we continue looking for another place and hope that the seller reconsiders our offer, or at least counters.

I guess they would rather just sit on an empty house then to sell it. I guess I jinxed it by posting on here prior to getting the house.
