Our baby at 15 weeks of development:

At around 4 inches long, crown to rump, our baby now weighs about 2 1/2 ounces. He/she is busy inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, which will help the air sacs in the lungs develop. Sweat glands are appearing, and although his/her eyelids are fused shut, he/she can sense light. If we were to shine a flashlight -k’s tummy, he/she most likely move away from the beam. At the next ultrasound, we may be able to find out whether our baby is a boy or a girl. We will find out but not tell anyone.

This is a story of Mark Robohm who remodeled his space on the cheap. For under $12,000 he completely gutted and rehabbed his living space in New York mostly by himself in about a year and a half. He reused materials from the gut. He laminated his own countertops. And best (or worst) of all, he lived in the space the whole time.

Obviously he must be very handy with tools and/or figuring things out quickly. His occupation is web deisgn… so maybe he just looked everything up online. I do.

On the drive to work today, I spotted a head on the side of the road. Hopefully it was just a mannequin head.

I filled up my tank this morning and calculated my mpg for the tank. I got a little over 35 miles per gallon! Its been slowly getting better the more I drive. In the beginning it was getting around 30mpg, and now its great. I wonder if it has to do with the humidity level or the temperature outside. I imagine it does effect fuel efficiency.

At 35 mpg, it is right on par with the 2008 revised fuel efficiency ratings. Luckily our gas prices here range between $2.45 - $2.70 which is less than the average price per gallon the guide uses.

So I opted to cancel all the social networking sites I had accounts with. I was on the fence with them… either I was going to like them or not. I have decided to stick with chatting, my email account, Flickr for photos and this site. If you are wanting to get a hold of me and you are reading this, you probably know my email address or my IM names. If not, leave me a comment and I will let you know.

Rogue Demons – Suffocate

Social networking is supposed to bring people together. They do, but there are so many different social networking sites and types that people are limited by the social network they choose. I want a way to incorporate all the different sites into one.

There are some sites like Facebook that have plugins or applications that help do this. For example you can have your flickr account show some of your photos, and your last.fm playlist can also be viewed right there on your page.

But I want control over the look of each. And I want each one easily accessible by others. Basically I want to mashup all the sites I am connected with and put them all on my site. Is it possible? I dont know. Could it be potentially harmful to have all of my business online? I dont know.
