Police are hunting the killers of a businessman who is believed to have crossed the Calabrian Mafia and then suffered the terrifying consequences. 

Angelo Cottarelli, 56, was still alive when he was found, but with his throat cut almost to the point of decapitation, in the basement of his home in Brescia, northern Italy, on Monday. Police also found the bodies of his wife, 41, and his son, 17, who had been shot twice in the head as well as having their throats cut.  Signor Cottarelli died soon after being found. He managed to say “I know who did it”, but those were his last words.

Now, those are some great last words, arent they? Just like something out of a crime drama when the next episode reveals all. Okay, so it is a fairly nasty situation, but how often do you suppose such things are uttered before expiry? Look on the bright side..he still had his head. He could have lost it couldnt he, and then what would he have said? I wonder then, what my last words will be?
