White Shark Breaching (Carcharodon carcharias)
Seeing a white shark breaching clean out of the water is one of the most amazing experiences in nature. The power and presence of these animals is awesome. The best time to experience this is in mid winter at sunrise in False Bay, near Cape Town. Among the white shark’s favourite prey is the Cape fur seal (Arctocephalus pusillus). As seals are far more agile than white sharks and will usually escape if they spot the shark in time, the shark relies on surprise in the form of these explosive attacks.

I have attended three births and not one was as clear as that and NO way was she vertical at the time.
Birth 1: She broke my fingers…nearly and I didnt know what day it was.
Birth 2: I was smacked out on gas N air in a rocking chair playing at being a spitfire pilot. She laughed but doesnt know why.
Birth 3: She squeezed and I ate a full breakfast ala Midwife. The yoghurt and coffee was lovely. It was like a Veterans Hospital for Mothers. By the time your 3rd comes around, wifey is considered “l33t”
Birth 4: Hey that kid is asian.
Well, we do try.
