I found some examples of the kinds of websites I hate:
gallery1024 - I admit, this looks really cool. The animations are tight and quick, but: does every piece of the design have to animate? Wow a box built in a really fancy way! awesome. Every link brings up a loading animation that probably needs a loader… Not only that, but aren’t we all done with the super small unreadable fonts? The small fonts work as a design element, but if you have content that you want others to read - then make it readable.
farbraum.at - This one looks pretty cool too. Loading… loading… loading… Do I really have to click to enter? Didnt I already type in the domain name, or click another link taking me to this website? Annoying building animations of the content. Ignoring the fact that the site is not english, how do you get to the content? Lots of clicking on things animating and blinking things and finally some content shows up. yippy. By the time I found content, I dont really care anymore.
mcbia.go.ro - This would have worked so much better as html. Whats with the floaty animation things distracting from the work? I dont know.

Gay, gay, and gay.
bibbly nibbly boo
it makes my eyes bleed
so does bum sex
agreed. totally lame.
must agree with you bibilcoon, some of them however arent that bad, maybe they were “hot” at the time, do some “wayback” searches on the sites you posted, i believe that the gallery1024.com site alone was built in 2000, 6 years prior to your post. Design trends change…
