After a long time of wanting to build something… or anything, I finally built a lamp. Its a red oak base stained with a dark walnut chocolate color with a black oval shade with chrome tribal designs on the inside. See the pics. It ended up not being cheaper than buying a lamp (a cheap lamp)…
