Well, yesterday I turned off my computer (normally its on all day everyday) and it didnt want to turn back on. It starts up, you see the BIOS screen stuff, then when its supposed to load windows, it says that Windows was not loaded properly last time, and try to boot in Safe Mode. This only sends it into an infinite loop of rebooting and saying the same thing every time. My thought is that the hard drive may be bad. I think it is the original 40 GB drive that came with the computer almost 5 years ago. Maybe the drive is just bad, or going bad. Maybe its a sign to just buy a new puter.

Indeed, I whole heartedly agree. A new computer is the way to go, unless you don’t want to pursue that option.
well my computer really did die. my processor fried like so much potatoeoe-oh giblits, no smoke, no poof! no sparks, just “whoops i dont work anymore” stupid thing…and the best part; my processor is no longer being manufactured, which means its old (you know its old when the website of the company that makes it doesnt even have it in their database) so now i am faced with a wonderful challenge: either somehow find the same processor (since no others fit my board) or buy a new motherboard, a new processor, a new video card, new RAM, and quite possibly new hard drives. FUN!!! love that technology. Nowadays when you spend the bookoo bucks to get the top of the line system, its outdated by the time you get to your car, the newer system is not just double, but triple the speed of your computer. There is no way to keep up with technology or with the conglomo-super-mega-hyper-corporations so dont try. Theres also no good way to end this so I say: That is all, continue shopping.
