I think that the alQaeda are mad that the UK got picked for the 2012 Olympics and they didnt. The alQaeda are also jealous because they dont have a country to call their own.

I watched the torture that is the suits voting for which city would host the 2012 games. Its down to London and Paris with the results revealed later today. I like the system.. its a good one but in the hands of the doddering crats it is excruciating to watch. Please folks.. pick a number and hit valid.. plz.. just do it !!!! Even Piffle, my hamster, (yes he’s still alive..) could do it. I watched people making loads of money by doing something easy made to look complicated..

G8 comments next up.. pull up a sandbag…

[Edit] London wins! Hurrah for us! And now the Tube blows up and its probably a good thing; get it sorted you have 7 years… no pressure..

Yet another [Edit] Ive just heard its terrorists..anyone else bored of people who only know how to kill to get what they want?

Today… has become one of those days where nothing wants to work for me. The stars must not be aligned. I must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Karma must be coming back to get even for something I dont remember. Maybe I have a hex put on me? Bad Juju?

I was running low on milk, so I decided to pour it into the cereal bowl before the cereal (so I could see how much cereal could fit into that amount of milk). As I tipped the carton up to pour it into the bowl, it quickly swished up the other side of the bowl and out onto the counter. Great… that was about a third of milk. OK, no problem… I poured the rest of the milk.

I grabbed for the paper towel roll to clean up the spilled milk. The fresh new roll of paper towels decided that they wanted to be free from my grasp. They fell out of my hand and onto the bowl with hardly any milk in it. More than half of the remaining milk in the bowl shot on the counter and down the cupboard door to the floor. Breakfast was skipped.

Work was fine. I did some.

Walking to the train after work, for the most part was fine and uninterrupted. Until I was walking around some lady at the bus stop (in between her and the curb is where I was walking) and a bus wizzed by at a very quick pace. I dont know how I was not smashed by the mirror or by the side of the bus.

Somehow I spinned in disbelief with a wild eyed ‘whoa’ grin. Some dude gently grabbed my shoulders and tugged me away from the bus. Weird. If I was to exaggerate how close the bus was to me, then I would have to say that the bus had driven through me.

I realized after that close call that it was as close as I have come to being hit by a bus. And I was on foot, on the sidewalk. I ride quite often down in the city with less chance of getting hit. That doesnt make sense.

So in the end, I would have to argue with myself about the day not going well and say that the stars were aligned to keep me from being plowed by a bus.
