I get the feeling that Gulf War II is becoming more unpopular by the hour. Look for Tony Blair to start getting cuddly with Europe again. Governments could still topple; people are fed up of the ever increasing death toll in this region. And Im not sure killing the old guy in the wheelchair was a good idea either. Last thing you need is to bring your enemies together when your best weapon is always division…

There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq during the month of January …In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January that’s just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war torn country of Iraq.
When some claim President Bush shouldn’t have started this war, and that the death toll is skyrocketing, state the following
FDR…led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost an average of 112,500 per year. By the Way, Hawaii, wasn’t even a state yet, so there was no attack on American Soil.
Truman… finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost an average of 18,334 per year.
John F. Kennedy… Started sending troops to assist in the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
Johnson… turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost an average of 5,800 per year.
Clinton… went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent, Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden’s head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
In the two years since terrorists attacked us President Bush has… liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran and North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking, but…It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51 day operation. How spoiled are we now, when we have lost 2347 in approx 3 yrs to Iraq, an average of 782 per year, (only 140 of the total were from major combat and only 2/3 are “combat” related, the rest were training accidents and Vehicular accidents), that this number is too high. Maybe when these people realize that We aren’t fighting men over there, but elementals, long lost mines from one of the many wars before our arrival, the vermin who would rather kill us by killing themselves, In what logic does BLOWING yourself up PROVE that your faith and religion is better? It does however show a lack of regard for human life and a very low moral value system as they refuse to fight and die like warriors, these “men” that perform these actions without sticking around to see if they have done their cause any “good”. Cowards. We are no longer fighting for Iraq’s liberation, we are fighting the terrorist that made their decision to TAKE away the people of Iraqs new found freedom. New Schools, power plants and industrial complexes open every day. Women are going to college and GRADE school for the first time. So many good things are happening over there for a formerly oppressed people and the media is ignoring it, just to garnish further political bias. They report the news and in their view GOOD news is bad for RATINGS
We’ve been looking for evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick (which resulted in the death of his passenger, where are the people of Massachusetts values when they constantly re-elect a person who is,at best guilty of involuntary manslaughter?).
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!!
The Military morale is high!
The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.
Very good info. Thanks for your post.
