waiting for love… would you?

Is it wrong to have the expectation that the one you love would do the same for you as you would do for them?

If your loved one was gone for over a year, would you wait for them or break it off?
How deep of love would you need to be in to wait for your significant other to come home? Is there a time limit on your love?

Ill restate the beginning: Is it wrong to put the expectation on your loved one to do what you would do for them if the tables were turned? Would the knowledge of what you had waiting for you at home (or away) was worth waiting for? Would it be too much to ask for the waiting to stay faithful?
