Prosperity Teaching. Its all about you and what you can get, when it should be all about others and what you can give. The Bible says “let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.” If God blesses you it’s not to ram down other people’s throats to make them feel inferior to you. You have to have something they genuinely want and that wont always be money. Prosperity can take the form of many things like health or marriage or good relationships. There is also a proverb that says something like “don’t let me be rich so that I forget you and don’t let me be poor so that I curse you.”
Nail this one guys and read your Bibles properly.

(Oh and PS, it also says not to pursue people through the courts system and to overcome evil with good… Its not that good = dumb its just that good is more powerful.)
Prosperity teaching is all about what we can give. If we don’t know love, how are we to give it? If we don’t have wisdom how are we to give it? If we don’t have money to feed the homeless man down the street, how are we to give it? How are we to bless others when we are not blessed ourselves? There are a lot of misconceptions out there about the prosperity message. It is not just about money. It is about abounding in ALL things. So that it can overflow into others. As far as your scriptures go: #1 how are we to seek wealth for another if you don’t know how to get it yourself? #2 I don’t know which Proverb you are talking about. I tried to find something that said anything close to that and I couldn’t. For all I know you are just paraphrasing a verse to make it what you want it to say.
Finally, before you judge anybody’s belief’s, find out exactly what it is they believe. Because people have a way of starting rumors. Furthermore, you can’t properly debate someone’s beliefs if you are not thoroughly informed and educated on why they believe as they do and exactly what it is they believe.
