Now is not the time to go wobbly. The last thing you need to be is focussed on your fears because it is a waste of brain space. So the Iraqi’s have raised the spectre of hand-to-hand fighting and you can feel the fear in the American politicians already. Now, after you have started, is not the time to bottle out. OK so sieges are not the best thing to happen but I still think there is a trump card to be played.
Confidence in what you are doing should be from the top down. Nothing like wobbliness to put your troops off. Get it together and get it done.
