As far as the war in Iraq goes I feel it is a “fork in the road” day. In the numerous conversations I’ve had it seems that there is no such thing as a “nice” war no matter how much we would like it to be.

In Psalm 137 it describes those who are happy to give Babylon some of what she deserves. Verse 9 is scary read it for yourself….

I think the Oracle at Delphi would say something like “you will win this war or you will lose it” or some such vague prophecy. We have to decide in our hearts that we will win it; we have to think it in our minds. I read what Peter Arnett is supposed to have said. He has chosen (unwisely I feel) to say that the war is lost. But perhaps it is only half time Peter, we still have the second half to go and the extra time.

Certainly there is more going on than we can see but I am always saying that =)

While I am here and stuffing the bible down your throats Psalm 144 verse 1 says “Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight.” This was told me by a Christian pilot whom sadly we lost in the first Gulf War. I’m with him on this one.

Rosie.
