I am writing this as I think it.

Christianity is really under threat now from all angles whether it be in the court or in the EU constitution or even in the church itself. You know what I mean. It is a good thing for me to believe that I will not be left or forsaken by Jesus; it is a promise I hold dear. But what about if you turn it the other way? Under the stress and pressure for Christianity to be sanitised and moulded by outside forces
will I have the courage to say to Him that I will not leave or forsake Him? Even if the government or terrorists try to force me to do otherwise? To forsake means to abandon utterly. He’s never done that to me but I am unsure of my own ability to stay with Him in a world like this one… but it is my deepest wish to have the courage of my convictions.
