We arrived just as rigomortis was setting in. The victim, a local but not of Iraqi birth, was sprawled upon the ground and was clearly dead. He had received a single bullet though the back of his head which somehow ricocheted through the side of his neck. Added to that wound we saw that his ears, lips and eyes had been removed, leaving us wondering what this man had done. A search of the area was carried out but no weapon found, well…not one that would have carried out the murder. Instead we found over 100 pieces of ordanance in a makeshift house close by. Enough to cause someone a real headache.
We alerted the local Iraqi Police. In keeping with the expertise of this force, the officers couldnt care a less about the stiff. They attended though, and threw the now stinking corpse into their car before leaving. Fish food apparently??!??!??
