Oh and by the way, I am very proud to be writing on this site along with you two… R.

______

Oh dear I cant compete with my two counterparts as I got rid of my uniform back in 19canteen…
What I can say is although I am a Brit I love the the desert; I like the extremes of temperatures. Does that make me some kind of nutter? I had enough rain for 6 months last year.

I was always sporty and didnt mind runs etc etc. It was always something I could beat the guys at…that and being a very good shot.

Bet thats annoyed you two =)

These days I dont like heat unless its air-conditioned and I dont even run for a bus…..

I imagine the UN (in doing nothing there is only death…) will bring all sorts of stuff with them UT. Hang on and hopefully the temporary politicians will send along more help.

Sorry…thats enough of my whinging like a little girl.

Runs and push ups? Thats military stuff isnt it? Out here in the hot hot desert I prefer to lounge and lay down. Any thoughts on running is quickly put to bed when faced with the extreme tempretures. To give you an idea, go and buy the biggest and hottest hair dryer you can find. Then, find a steep hill and run up it with the hair dryer in your face (Of course, I take into account that would have to lug a generator too). Then, roll around in the dust whilst wet and finally take a shower in hot water before rolling around again in the dust. Thats a fairly good idea of how crap it is living out in Basrah. And to anyone who says “what? you some sort of a wimp?”, then remember that being a whitey from Blighty means not being used to so much sun.

BRING ME RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, biblicone was down for a few days as some of you noticed… that is due to the lack on my part to make sure the biblicone.com name was paid for. I renewed the name once again. How long has biblicone been up now, 3 years? Does not seem like it. Enjoy.

Things are good with me here in Korea. Ive been here 4 weeks now, and Im getting used to the routine (or lack thereof). I think I am finally climatized. The runs feel good now, where when I got here, I thought I would never be able to handle them. Now only if we did pushups more often. Up, down, up, down, up, down…

0244 hours. Can’t sleep. Its a walk to the cabin inorder to use the internet but, the only cool time in the desert is at night and Im welcome of it. Being a man of Blighty I am not built to withstand the punishing sun and it is 50C here nearly everyday.

Mars is bright here too, Rosie. The lack of light pollution enhances the sky above. Havent got a telescope though. Only my SUSAT sight on my rifle, but thats only x4 Magnification so not much good at all.

Anyway, Im glad to see that I can still access Biblicone. I thought it was a banned site as per Forces web bollox, but…..no :-) Im doing fine. Have yet to catch any weird diseases and am collecting photos of Iraq. Very weird feeling being here to be honest. I never thought we would, well….not upto a year ago. I hope all is well with you lot and Mob: Check your emails. I finally got round to reading yours.

Oooooh we back on….

OK TombRaider Cradle of Life. 5/10 Its an ok film and pretty true to her idiom but is a total assault on your eardrums and eyes.

Pirates of the Caribbbean. 10/10 You have to see this film especially if you are British, like comedy and great computer imagineering < << yukky word but heh I'm writing this. This is a must see; it has a great story, is very well acted indeed, is total fun with no loose ends and the odd surprise or two.

(UT: Keep a diary mate just keep jotting as you go you will be pleased you did one day)

Rosie (sore neck from Mars watching…)
