White Rose
5Nov2002
Remembrance Day is always the Sunday nearest to the 11th of November. Since my birthday is the 10th it always seems that some of my birthdays are a bit sombre. We don’t say Happy Remembrance day to anyone; we do observe 2 minutes silence (well those of us who care do) at 11am. It’s poppies all the way and a time to be grateful as well as thoughtful. It is strange that I think of WW1 more than WW2 at this time. I couldn’t tell you why. What do you lot do?
Rosie.
