I noticed that talk of war has been shunted further away. You see it takes time for real statistics to dawn on politicians. I don’t think Britain can do it full stop. Maybe if we still had an empire and wore red just maybe…. but we are not what we were. Two world wars stripped us of our youngest and brightest and I don’t think we have truly recovered. The last of the baby boomers are now 40 ish and after us? What sort of people are coming after us?

(My 3rd cake launch went very well, it had “go flight” even while it looked at me from the mixing bowl. Yum! Thats what you get for following the instructions down to the last second of cooking time….)
