Is this is far as we have got? I too, spend Saturdays browsing the paper and I got to the Letters of the week section, which included one from a guy who pointed out that the uncertainty of Osama being alive or dead is the best possible outcome for the USA Spin machine. Okay, fair point…but this isnt worthy of mention in the letters of the week section. BAH! I distincly recall someone not unlike us mentioning the same thing way back when on a site not unlike this. And, I am hearing more and more people saying that they believe that Saddam could lanuch on the UK with missiles from Iraq. What? Are we really that confused as to whats being said, done and what would, could and hasnt happened?
Last week the opinion poll of Americans being Pro-war with UN backing was two thirds of the population. This week it was 62% for the war regardless. Why? What changed? I would love to show you these stats but I saw them on TV. Cop out I know, but there you go. (pointless verbage)
Across the board sentences. John Walker Lindh got 20 years for his bit. I will watch with great interest to see what others get for being in the Taliban. Ill say no more on that one for now.
