US Teens cant find Iraq on a map

I know this is sad, but I know when i was growing up and going to school… the only thing map realted topics (other than history classes that I found quite boring) was finding the 50 States on a US map. I dont remember having quizes on current events, or even knowing where to locate important places in the world. I dont want to pass the blame, but the school is where this information will be either learned or not learned. ( * )

Brits have been bombed as long as there has been bombs. A Brit can hardly travel abroad without finding out Brits had been there before them and caused some sort of trouble. It’s the fear of sudden death that’s the problem. Anybody can die at any time and find themselves in eternity without knowing it. And then you want to start worrying about where you’ll spend it?

An atheist; someone with no invisible means of support. A recently elected politician in Israel is quoted as saying that he is “not religious and does not believe in God.” I don’t think He’s worried for a moment. To me that statement makes no sense at all. I’m not religious and I DO believe in God. Go figure lads!

Britain expecting al-Qaeda terrorism attack?

i wonder if an attack in another country would affect Americans as much as 9-11 has affected the rest of the world. It seems to me that Americans as a whole, dont pay too much attention to international news… but could that change if the attacker is the same as it was here on 9-11? I would hope so. i just bit the head off an owl. (animal cracker)

Where exactly are we? ? is my answer. When the UN decided to join hands and sing “down with Weps of Mass dest”, I thought, okay, this is good. But will they, can they see it through I wonder?
Nato. More countries joining Nato? A total of 26 C’s in Nato if it all goes to plan. This is potentially stupid, because, people are stupid. It was hard enough making decisions with 19 countries. At any rate, being such a conservative alliance, the chance of making unanimous decisions in the current climate is not worth betting on.

Bombs. Stuff which is explosive is missing. Have you read this? Russia is missing Uranium apparently. Maybe it is all innocent…..NOT! I cant help but wonder when and where the next can of whoopass is gonna be opened. Anyway, I really do think that the poop is gonna fly soon. I dont understand the current trend on the forums and chatrooms of discussing a possible breach of rules by Iraq when they fired on allied planes this week. Is this news to some? For the last 12 years Iraq has been a damn good training ground for Allied pilots and vice versa for those on the ground that wanted to watch expensive fireworks. Its all a publicity drive to help stir the masses into war. DuH!!!!

Firefighters strike. In a nutshell. Bunch of wankers.

Myra is dead.Good.

Christmas….is getting closer.

By the way, before you all freak out about my last entry let me say this. If you murder someone life should mean life.. that simple. I also recommend they should not be allowed to use the media for their sick ideas. Even now I can’t read about what they did, it was truly unspeakable. More money for kids and the folks trying to raise them in this world.

Well that’s another chapter of British history closed. The death of Myra Hyndley will be closure for so many people. There will also be speculation as to where she has gone to in eternity. As I always say, God knows who are His and some of them we will be surprised at and some we will wonder where they are.

Last night I thought it was something spat up from hell, anouncing it in a “Children in Need” charity program. Typical I thought, everyone will get upset and tune off. How little do I know. This charity has made so much money overnight it is astonishing. Could it be that by dying just now children were put to the forefront of our minds? Today I can see it in a different light, by dying when she did it released so much more to those whom she had preyed on earlier in her life. I’m not excusing what she and her accomplice did all those years ago, it’s just that I’m looking at it differently.

It is written that God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked (you look it up, you can’t find it email me). We might feel that war in Iraq and elsewhere is justified. But it does leave a lot of dead people. In the film “Zulu” the victorious British officer was asked (it’s from memory by the way I’ve not seen it recently) “Was it like this for you the first time?” (That feeling of waste or emptiness.) Well, from his reply it was the first time for him too. You achieve your objective and you may get honoured but at such a cost! From now on I’m not going to take pleasure from the death of the wicked. Whether it’s the one or the many.

White Rose.

Btw, UT, your emails are very interesting. I’ll get back to you on them personally sometime this weekend. Rosie
