This week I have decided to give up caffeine. It’s my humble opinion the world would be a better place if we all just gave it up completely (sorry you shareholders). I have never understood peoples’ ability to need more of the stuff just to survive. Imagine how many people would come off different pharmeceuticals if they really wanted to… ah there’s the rub. When I think of coming off caffeine I then think of what will I drink instead to get me out of the bed in the morning? (no funny stuff people…)
So if it’s all right with all of you I’m switching to decaff instead, but I imagine this will be old news to our friends across the pond…. :)

Don’t get me started on alcohol; I dont drink much of the stuff and after only 2 glasses of anything cheap I get very silly. Or maybe I should drink a little bit more (only for medical reasons tho … honest!)

Picture it, George Bush gets up one morning and says to himself “Maybe war is just too much right now… quick get me a coffee!”

record labels are ridiculous. they serve up crap artists and expect a huge return of money for them. file sharing programs show that people dont want to pay outrageous prices for cds, specific songs may be good, or they may not… if i were to like a band, i will buy the cd. if i download the song and hate it, i wont buy it, and ill be glad i didnt waste my money on it.

record labels are also known for making fake mp3s of their artists and ’share’ those fake looped songs. i had this issue with some eminem songs. i downloaded the songs to see if i liked them before i bought the cd, they were all crappy loops. i decided not to buy the cd because of that (later realizing that the record label released those fake songs). mp3s may be just as helpful to record labels as radio is… but since the song is heard without any money exchanging hands, then that is piracy and wrong… screw you record labels, you suck and so does your expensive as hell, crap pop music. the end.

Researchers introduced a mutant gene into the fruit flies that is sensitive to temperature.
This made the mutant males less interested in courting female flies and open to the advances of other males.
