ha, true WR. You are obviously wound up with this Gt Briton thingy as Mrs Hooligan is, and I. For those not of Brit habitat at this time, the nation is pondering about who the greatest Briton was. For me, I choose Montgomery, but Im stupid and a tactitian and a romantic for great tank battles, although I was strongly convinced to vote for Isambard Kingdom Brunel. What a stoker he was!!!
Religion. I dont believe in religion. Full stop. I might believe in faith, at a push. As for whether we should have a multifaith nation or a godless one, I suggest a godless one. I say this because this nation does not function very well with its multifaith’s and cultures that must come with those faiths and that we should all find peace with one another before finding peace with god, whichever that may be.
Christianity for me was people who went to church to feel better abvout themselves. They didnt actually do anything worthy or difficult enough to test their so called belief. Okay, I might be out of order, but I failed to see the difference that following any religion could make. I dont think its wrong to do so and wouldnt tell my children not to make their own conclusions, but Im not about to say my life is worse than any person who says they know God. It might be better, I dont know. I just dont need that in my life. What does this country need? It needs a good boot up the backside. Religion isnt sorting out society and its ever decreasing standards, so where else should we look?

Nooooooo! I tried to make a chocolate cake today (brave for me) and spent this afternoon making it only to find that just now after putting the dogs out a sizeable chunk is missing :(
This means I have to go through the whole rigmarole of a spaniel line up with interrogation to find out who did it.

Last time I read the Bible God was quite clear that there was only one God and that was Him. He was also upset over people’s constant ability to follow other gods if it suited them. If you are a Christian this could get you in a lot of trouble.
In the Old Testament the story of David and Bathsheba is well known. But do you remember that David had Bathsheba’s husband killed so that he could have her? His name was Uriah and was a loyal servant to David. But David had Uriah deliver the letter that turned out to be Uriah’s own death warrant… read it it’s better than tv…
What I’m coming to is this. If I really believe that there is only one God (and I do) this gets me into trouble with anyone of other faiths if I (stubbornly?) hold onto it. Don’t get me wrong, you choose what you believe and you take your own responsibility. In some countries carrying a bible could have your head. As Christians have we realised that we too could be carrying our own death warrant?

Well what about humans? I feel like I’m kept in a corporate cage without windows at my place of employment… Sure I have the choice to leave, but then there is a problem with where will my money come from? Sure I can rebel against societies ways and not make or spend money, but then how will i eat or stay warm?
Society has created a world where you cannot live off the land on your own ( even if you knew how to. *at least here in Chicago). Oh well, I have to get back to work.

I’m sorry but the stuff UT posted up was incredible! It had to be seen to be believed! Unfortunately it was ruined by the fact I always laugh when I see the word “commode.” The words “flob” and “stroll on” have me in stitches….
