I’m sorry I’ve just read the coffee story and had to get some tissue…I have difficulty seeing the screen….. (and I will read this site before I post heehee).

My thought for yesterday and it still is today!

“I don’t understand, I don’t need to understand and there doesn’t have to be a reason.” This should be on a Tshirt and if you make one I want one.

Poor Angus Deayton; what goes around comes around. But there’ll be others out there who don’t mind if he takes the rap, it takes the heat off them. (For our overseas viewers, anyone outside the UK, this man was well known for pointing the finger and he has well and truly got pointed right back.)

I’ve never watched 1, 1a, 2 or 3. I did catch some of V but they were cruel to little animals…

Oh…kaaaaay

Top 3 American Tv Progs from here in sunny UT Land. Oh, and not the bloody Waltons:-) And not the Fall Guy, A-team or Frasier.

1. Band of Brothers, the co BBC/HBO production, but I guess this doesnt really count.

1A, Sopranos

2. Jackass

3. V…ok, so it isnt on anymore.

4. Buck Rogers. Yes, I said three, but “biddy biddy, wanna fuck Buck?” was a superb programme. Wilma gave me stirrings in my school uniform and the milkman looked like Buck. HA!!

Every now and again in Britain we like to take stock of our favourite something or another’s. I think it’s the baby boomers again. When we had a vote for your favourite childrens tv programme come on it was full of all the “old” programmes. (I voted for Bagpuss, if you’ve never seen him you’ve never lived…)

Then came the huge disaster of vote for your favourite film… Star Wars was great but there you go.. baby boomers again. (By the way I thought Titanic was dreadful) and the three I voted for were Zulu, LadyHawke (cos I’m hopelessly romantic still!) and Down Periscope; a truly funny film. Only Zulu got anywhere near the top 10. It must be me…. And now we are currently voting for out top 10 brits of all time (sigh, you should see the choices (glum) )

Last night I went into total rebellion of our dvd/video collection. You should see what I’m throwing out. In fact in a later post I will expand on this subject.

Come on Mob lets start a “vote for your favourite American tv prog”. My top 3 are in no particlar order:
1) Babylon 5 (At last a story with an IQ!)
2) Frasier (At last! A comedy with an IQ.)
3) The Waltons…. (I can hear the screams from here in sunny Scotland….)

White Rose (You not got a girlfriend at the moment Mob? :( )

I was tempted to vote for IKB as well, especially after the programme on him (what a guy) but personally I like someone who can smash other people’s ships up and so I am torn between the two. (Nelson and Elizabeth 1st.) (Sigh) I shall have to wait until I’ve seen both programmes before I make my decision.
